After 3 hours of assembling, 2 boards cracked in the final steps. It is made of a particle board- not very high quality and instructions were difficult to follow. One positive, the customer service was great and quickly sent replacement parts so we were still able to salvage.

Great addition to my guest room/home office. Not too big so it doesn't take over the room and yet it gives an opportunity to display cherished items where they can be seen. It was easy for me to put together as I have assembled a lot of furniture over the years. Following the instructions does take a focused approach to sort out the pieces and how they all go together. Get what you pay for. Great desk for a small space. However the quality isn't that great. Paint was uneven on white shelves in multiple places. Was able to touch it up myself. Directions are tricky. Stickers to cover screws are a different color so it makes them stand out more. After a few days of being together they are already peeling off. Keeping the desk as it's for our guest room.
